ANYTHING FOR A GOOD NIGHT OUT

" Anything for a good night out"

Sometimes me and my crazy people do some crazy stuffs and still have a fabulous time. Yesterday it started from one of the brother's home. I joined them later in one of the other brother's home. We swallowed few shots of drink along with very hot fried chilly chicken. We were literally fanning our mouth and drinking water to calm it down hahaha. Suddenly we decided to go to clubbing in Central London. Mind you it was already 11pm.

We reached there around midnight and it took us an hour to find one pub with a dance floor. We had to get in there as we had no other choice and our bladder was full and about to explode. While all the girls were walking in their high heels showing their long sexy legs supported by a damn handsome guy, we girls were walking in converse and pumps with a drunken brother hanging by our shoulder. I wasn't quite in dance mood with no hairdo, no make up and a casual check shirt. (well my favourite one though).
The first impression of the pub to me we was like 'It's finished where it started'. What a crap place with a crappy music. Guys were not to cool and even the free shot of drink they offered wasn't that convincing.

We started dancing even in that 'Never heard' song cause I believe that it's us who makes the party hot and happening. You should know the golden rules of party girl ( set by me), nobody is going to entertain you unless you yourself don't give it a go. Then slowly I heard few songs that are known to me, 'Beautiful Monster' and 'Firework'. I had to start dancing to digest those shot I swallowed. I even tried to do the Moon walk hehehe. Don't ask me about what happened before and after the event though cause I only want to keep good moments spent. I try and avoid confrontation with strangers to keep the good memory alive. All in all, anything for a good night out.

Back in my teens in Nepal, girls who goes out clubbing were considered not fit to be a ideal housewife material. I strongly think there are still people who thinks like that. Here's my answer to them, I show them 'a big middle finger'. I'm not dishonouring any of the elderly people here but let me tell you something in our Nepalese Customs what do you call those girls who goes out to 'Rodi ghar', 'Dhaan Naach', 'Ratyauli Khelney', 'Chandi Naach', 'Mela' and many more. Just because a modern girl goes to club that doesn't mean she's there to do wrong things. It simply means GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN. Please remember one thing, a woman can make a home paradise full of life and same woman can make it hell. If a woman is happy she can spread happiness, create happiness and share happiness.

Girls, ladies and sisters out there, this is an honest suggestion to you. Once and for all, try to love your existance, try to love your life, try to love your freedom before it's too late but bare in mind that we also have limits. Atleast, not for your partner's sake, not for your family's sake, not for your society's sake or but FOR YOUR OWN SAKE enjoy your life once and have no regrets later. We are that vital thing which binds all the chords together. To the men out there, please try to understand and learn the internal feelings of your partner; you might find some child hidden in her heart who likes to go out and have fun.

Last but not the least, life is too short to regret what's already done and too long to repent what's never done.

Thank you for reading and hope I haven't offended anyone out there.

Just an ordinary girl :) :D Cheers

Hotel California : The Eagles

Hotel California : The Eagles

The song released in late 1976 was sold over millions of copies worldwide.

Dear All,

How do I start on this topic? So many things I want to say but very less words to express. I have always been avid music lover. Any genre is good for me. Music creates Magic! I think its the sound of your heart, mind and soul beautifully presented. Those who can create music are amazingly talented people. They have the power to put together those feelings and emotions and bring out something which we call music.

Today I was listening to radio at work. The best of 60's, 70's and 80's. I was born in 80's so obviously I love 80's music. Michael Jackson, Madonna, Bon Jovi, Gn'R and many more rocked the world. The station was playing 'Hotel California' by The Eagles. Suddenly all of a sudden memories of flashback came rushing into my mind. I don't know when exactly I heard this song for first time, but I loved it ever since I heard it. I can receit each and every word by heart. Well, I kind of have some memories for all the songs I love. With this particular song, 'Hotal California' I do have loads of good memories associated with it.

• Back home watching MTV or Channel V and listening to Hotel California.
• Adrian Sir (from Band 1974) used to play guitar and sing this song for us in School.
• Some concert in school ( school days are the best days)
• School and College picnics where my friends used to play guitar and sing this song.
• Last but not leaset, I went to HardRock Casino with few brothers. We sat at the bar and the stereo played this song. My brother and I were little tipsy but still managed to sing every single words of this song teehee. :) The lady in the bar was staring at us. I don't quite know the reasons behind her twisted looks but what I assume was that she thought how come these chinky looking people know this song by heart. The casino was indeed full of professional Chinese gamblers.

Some songs are written in such a way that they are called evergreen. You hear it now and even if you hear it after 20 years you still feel like singing it. People of all age group likes this kind of songs regardless of their gender. One of the ways of being happy for me is to listen to music. I believe and bring into practice 3 advantages of listening to music and singing with it.
1. Increases vocabulary power
2. Pronounciation could get better
3. Brain Practice ( gotta memorise whole song)

On top of all these our mind can be at ease and we can even relax listening to music. There are many songs which I like most. If I try to write it, it'll be a novel. To be honest, I would like to write a nice song someday and even after I die, my song would still be around. Just a random thought only hehe. :) :D

Enough of this long post now, hope you felt something that I want to express.

Ciao, Cheerio!!!

"Proud to be"

Dear readers,

It's one of those awkward moments when I no longer can figure out what am I proud of in life and what is so proud to be in me. Most of the time I'm proud of myself being survived in this fast moving and self-centered world but all the other time I'm a bit confused of my proudness. My self-esteem drops down at times and I feel like I don't really have anything so worthwhile to be proud of. I don't even know whether my family or my friends or my relatives are proud of me. What I've gone through all these years and my experiences are nothing to be proud of I guess. Those experiences makes me sad as well sometimes. But I tend to protect good times only and try to keep aside horrible ones. I have recollection of each moments but still trying hard not to remember those moments which annoys me most.

Things I'm proud of:

  • Being a Nepali and born in Nepal,
  • Winning prizes in school and taking it home and give it to mom every year,
  • Getting driving license at the age of 18,
  • Persuing my dream of being independant as soon as I finish my higher secondary,
  • Again getting driving license in the UK (followed by buying a car),
  • passing difficult exams (though I failed many exams after coming here, first time in life),
  • Sending little amount of money home in festive season(though I was broke),
  • Making my parents proud (but I quite not know what they're proud of)
  • To be able to give some support to my younger sister,
  • Meeting many people from all over the world,
  • Opening a blog and keeping my writing spirit alive (thanks to twitter buddies).
The list continues................

But one the other hands things that I'm not too proud of are:
  • Leaving some unfinished studies and works behind,
  • Ignoring some chances cause those chances clash with my self-respect,
  • Being aggressive and mixing my emotions and anger together,
  • Eating more and not be able to lose weight (hehehe),
  • Competitive driving (I get annoyed by people overtaking me without signalling).
Ahh well this list continues as well. The thing I know very well is that I'm proud of calling myself Nepali and introduce my country to those who don't know geography. I'm in the UK right now, it's my Karmavumi (workplace), but one day I will definitely serve my Matrivumi (motherland).

I feel better after writing this post. This blog has been my  means of spreading my happiness and communicating. Love my readers and the followers. Keep my spirit alive people.

"Earthquake that shook my heart"

Date: 18/09/2011

Dear people of Nepal and Eastern India! You have escaped the fierceful natural Calamity for now atleast.

Today I was roaming around nice big park with my brother and sisters when I heard that an earthquake of 6.8 or 6.9 hit Sikkim and the effect reflected in Kathmandu as well. A cold chill went through my spine. All of a sudden were all worried and we started calling home straightaway to find out about our beloved ones. Thank god all of them were fine. I even tweeted rightaway and I got few responses . I remembered all my twitter buddies from Nepal and wondered if they were OK or not! Sadly few people in India and Nepal lost their lives. May their soul rest in peace.

The fear of losing someone you care is unimaginable thing. The earthquake happened there but it shook my heart here. All we can do here is pray and hope for the wellbeing of our loved ones. Nature is controlling the population of planet Earth in its own way. I have always accepted that nothing is greater than NATURE itself. My mom says we can never win over and also never play with 3 things: water, fire and wind! Well, she's right. All these natural calamities happening lately has proved that no matter how much human being can be developed and become sophisticated nature is always above it. I hope now nature is done with its revenge with humans and forgive us for ruining its chasity.

PRAYING. FOR. A. SAFER. EARTH. TO. LIVE. IN!!!

Young Love and Young heart

I originally wrote it for somebody's request, but I still love this piece of my creativity so much that I'm posting here. Hope no one minds.

Its about a boy trying to persuade a girl. well its kinda kiddish but i try to write a boy might think.

Note: This is purely my creation and not copied from other sources. Respect.

When I first saw you, I didn't notice you.

The second time I met you, I didn't even recognize you.

But I couldn't forget you, the third time I received a glance from you.

Now everyday I wanna see you, I just can't get enough of you.

Your gravity is pulling me towards you,

Your vanity is subsidizing my egoistic youth,

Your naivity is killing me deep inside,

Your fragility is telling me to move aside.

I wanna take a sip of your lips,

I wanna steal the vibes of your eyes,

Give me one reason not to confess,

Do you even care about the feeling I suppressed.

You are like that sweet pain in my heart,

Loving me won't be vain if we start,

Can't make promises that we stay or depart,

But I can assure you that I will never be apart.
